This section controls where the ClickOnce applications (Host on Demand, Connection Window, Recordings Playback Window) download from. During the installation of the RAS server-side software, a prompt will allow you to select either using your own Web Console installation (requires trusted certificate) or Proxy Networks, where we host the ClickOnce applications instead. The applications will download from our servers and communicate with your own server (as specified in the "Gateway Server Access - Internal" and "External" sections of the web console). This means that those evaluating the Proxy Networks RAS Edition do not need a trusted certificate.
Alternatively, the ClickOnce applications can be stored in a particular location on your server at a location of your choice.
Note: The URL to access the On Demand Applications controls how the Click-Once deployment applications, Macintosh Host and Master software, and other code components are downloaded from the Web Console. The recommended configuration is to have a third-party trusted certificate configured for the Web Console web site, and access these components from the Web Console installation. If the Web Console web site does not have a trusted certificate, you can use the cloud-hosted copies, or provide hosting of these components somewhere else (using an explicit URL configuration).
