Field
Description
PROXY Pro Gateway Server version
Version identification of the PROXY Pro Server software.
Station Name
%NAME% is the default value, reflects the NETBIOS computer name of the server.
Automatically move newly discovered workstations into default group
The moment a Host reports in that is new to the Gateway, it will be sent to the "Managed Hosts" group so that it becomes immediately accessible for connectivity. With this unchecked, Hosts will group up within the "Unmanaged Hosts" group and would be manually moved over to the desired Host Group(s) by an Administrative user.
Default group for newly managed Hosts
Use this drop-down to set which group newly discovered Hosts are sent to. By default Hosts are sent to the top-level Managed Hosts group.
Show Host console users by username only (without domain names)
Default is Yes
Automatically update status of "Managed Hosts" older than (minutes)
Default is 30 minutes. Every half hour, the RAS server will attempt to reach each Host at its last-known address to determine if it's still accessible and thus should be marked as ":OK" and accessible for connectivity. Machines that do not respond to the status update will be marked as unreachable or not at last address.
Automatic Host Cleanup - Delete Hoists with a last connect time older than X days
Default is 120 days. The server can purge its database of old Host machines that have not successfully checked into the server after the specified amount of days.
Delete empty AD groups
Default is on.
Adjust the below Inactivuty Timeouts to intervals that more closely match usage patterns if the defaults are not ideal. For example, if you would like to be prompted for inactivity less frequently, the web console's "Warn users after" setting can be set to something much greater such as 180 minutes. The idea is that users that are not using the software can automatically be logged out to free up a license for another user.
Field Setting Name
Field Concurrent user license mode inactivity timeout
Warn users after
Default is 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of web console inactivity, a prompt appears asking if the user is still present.
Suspend (release license) after additional minutes
Default is 5 minutes. If a user doesn't acknowledge the warning prompt mentioned above, the logout will occur and the license will be freed up for another user.
Log users out after additional
Default is 5 minutes. This controls how long the suspend prompt appears before the license is released.
Automatically release input control after
Default is 15 minutes. The connection will stay alive but the user will enter "View Only" mode and the license is released. When input control is taken back, the license is in use.
