3. Imaging Instructions

The PROXY Pro Host can be installed onto a base image that a general population of end users receive.  Proxy Networks provides a Utilities zip  file (https://www.proxynetworks.com/downloads) containing a command-line utility called HostPrep.exe and it prepares a machine for imaging.  After you've installed the PROXY Pro Host on your base image and have configured the settings within the PROXY Pro Host Control Panel's various tabs, you would issue the following command from an administrative command prompt.  Type "hostprep -y" and the Host service will now stop, the Host's GUID (globally unique identifier) is cleared and now it's safe to take a snapshot.  Resulting machines will generate their own unique GUIDs upon first-time bootup and they will begin populating in your PROXY Pro Web Console.
